About

VK Singh Vashisht Institute for Critical Studies

A digital think tank and production house.

The project

The institute recovers suppressed intellectual genealogies — the Indo-Iranian foundations of Western theology, the pharmacological substrate of Vedic cosmology, the extraction logic of late-stage capitalism. It builds new critical frameworks from Indic philosophical traditions and states them as named, citable concepts. And it puts those arguments to work, in essays, in series, and in instruments that do rather than say.

VK Singh Vashisht, critical theorist

Trained in film production at USC's School of Cinematic Arts through the Universal Studios summer producing and directing program (2009), under Don Zirpola.

B.A. in Economics, University of California, Irvine.

Citing the institute

Every published essay carries a persistent identifier of the form ICS-2026-001 and a suggested citation at its foot. Identifiers and addresses never change; corrections are logged as dated revisions on the essay itself. The frameworks index gives each named concept a permanent address.

Independence

The institute is independent. It is not affiliated with any university, foundation, or other organization bearing the Vashisht name.
